Abstract
In our studies, 3 out of the 9 thalidomide derivatives used to treat lepra reaction of lepromatous leprosy were effective. All 3 are known to be teratogenic in animal studies. This suggests that the teratogenic and the lepra reaction suppressive properties may be related. Keywords
