Abstract
Simple designs for a coaxial electrical contactor pin and an insulated single conductor pin for measuring shock velocities are described. The coaxial pin consists of a hypodermic tube for the outer conductor with an insulated wire inside which is setback one mil. A formed silver foil cap covers the recessed end. The single conductor pin has a Mylar film over one end and insulated tubing covering the length. Both types of pins have performed satisfactorily over a wide pressure range at ambient and liquid nitrogen temperatures. Keywords
