Studies on Digenetic Trematodes of Hawaiian Fishes, Primarily Families Lepocreadiidae and Zoogonidae

Abstract
Six new species of trematodes are described: Opisthogonoporus vitellosus sp. n. , from Naso unicornis (Forskal), N. brevirostris (Cuv. and Val.), N. hexacanthus (Bleeker), and Melichthys vidua (Solander); Deretrema acutum sp. n. , from Naso brevirostris PARVIPYRUM acanthuri gen. n. , sp. n., from Acanthurus olivaceus Bloch and Schneider; Zoogonoides pyriformis sp. n. , from Malacanthus hoedtii Bleeker; Sclerodistomum bravoae sp. n. , from Diodon hystrix L.; and Prosogonotrema subequilatum sp. n. , from Naso unicornis. New hosts are reported for Lepocreacdium clavatum (Ozaki, 1932) Yamaguti, 1938, and Preptetos caballeroi Pritchard, 1960. Brief observations are added for P. caballeroi Schistorchis stenosoma Hanson, 1953;S. zancli Hanson, 1953; and Dolichoenterum microcotylum Manter and Pritchard, 1960.Keywords
