Abstract
An experimental investigation of a novel ferrite resonator antenna has been carried out. The ferrite antenna was subjected to a static magnetic bias field, applied in directions parallel and perpendicular to the antenna length. The effects on the resonance frequency of the antenna when subjected to this bias were investigated. A maximum frequency shift of 8% above (parallel bias) or 8% below (perpendicular bias) the unbiased resonance frequency was achieved. Keywords
