Abstract
A typical case is presented. The necropsy incidence of cystic medionecrosis, aneurysmal dilatation and dissecting aneurysm in the wall of the aorta in 55 published cases of this syndrome is summarized. The importance of including Marfan''s syndrome in the differential diagnosis of aortic insufficiency is cited.Keywords
