INFERIOR PHRENIC ARTERY COLLATERALIZATION IN HEPATIC ARTERY OCCLUSION

Abstract
Seven patients who had thrombosis of the hepatic artery secondary to prolonged intra-arterial infusion of cytotoxic drugs, or had hepatic artery ligation, demonstrated significant inferior phrenic artery collateralization to resupply the liver and eventually the metastatic tumor nodules.
