Abstract
The mean free path of an electron in a thin metal film is calculated assuming an exponential probability distribution of the free paths of conduction electrons and a surface specularity parameter p. The calculation differs from that of Fuchs in that no Boltzmann transport equation is used. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
