Abstract
This paper brings together the paleomagnetic results from miscellaneous unmetamorphosed diabases and their remagnetized adjacent country rocks collected from widely separated locations within the Canadian Shield. Most of these diabases are tentatively assigned to the Franklin and Mackenzie Igneous Episodes on the basis of their paleomagnetic poles and their geological relationships with previously assigned diabases. The tentative Mackenzie pole from the present work is 02.5°N, 169.8°W (N = 12, K = 35, A93 = 7.4).Keywords
