A Report of Three Cases

Abstract
The authors present case reports of 3 patients with carcinoma of the breast in whom spinal cord meningiomas were subsequently removed. Despite a history of carcinoma, exploratory laminectomy is indicated wherever symptoms of spinal cord compression develop and thorough investigation fails to reveal the presence of metastases. It may be impossible otherwise to differentiate between secondary carcinoma and a primary intraspinal tumor.
