Abstract
Electronic mail messages are often sent to more than one destination; this gives rise to problems when security is required. A recent draft for a standard for securing electronic mail messages suggests a novel mechanism for solving the problem. Unfortunately, as shown herein, the solution is flawed and can allow the construction of fake messages which will pass the authenticity tests.Keywords
