GREEN-SCHWARZ ACTION AND LOOP CALCULATIONS FOR SUPERSTRING

Abstract
We argue that the Green-Schwarz explicitly 10d supersymmetric and 2d covariant approach without spin 1/2 and 3/2 fields on the world sheet may appear suitable for calculations of loops in superstring theory. We show how the cancellation of the Polyakov anomaly is realized, and the answer for the l-loop 4-point amplitudes is reproduced.
