Abstract
Mit der Fourier‐Transform‐Infrarot (FTIR)‐Differenzspektroskopie lassen sich nicht nur Chromophorreaktionen von Proteinen, sondern darüber hinaus auch Reaktionen der Proteinseitengruppen und des Proteingerüsts molekular‐ und zeitaufgelöst erfassen. Deshalb eignet sich diese neue Methode zur Aufklärung der Reaktionsmechanismen von Proteinreaktionen. Hier wird die Anwendung der Methode auf die Untersuchung der lichtgetriebenen Protonenpumpe des Bakteriorhodopsins beschrieben.Keywords
