Abstract
Trehalose is the principal sugar, besides glucose, in hemolymph of insects and other arthropods. Fructose, galactose, maltose and sucrose sugars have also been detected in certain insects (Wyatt, 1967, Adv. Insect Physiol. 4: 287–360).Keywords
