MEASUREMENTOF LOW INTERFACIALTENSION, COMPARISONBETWEENALIGHTSCATTERINGTECHNIQUEAND THESPINNING DROP TECHNIQUE

Abstract
We have compared two recently developed techniques for the measurement of low interfacial tensions between two liquid phases : the spinning drop technique and a surface light scattering technique. The agreement between the data obtained from the two techniques is satisfactory for the samples that we have tested (10−1 γ >10−3 dyn/cm).
