Clinical Note: Seizures and EEG Activation After Trimipramine

Abstract
Summary: Trimipramine induced major and petit mal seizures in a 14‐yr‐old girl after doses of 10 or 20 mg. A single oral dose of 12.5 mg was shown to induce spike‐and‐wave and other paroxysmal activity in the EECZUSAMMEnfassung: Trimipramine führte in einer Dosierung von 10 oder 20 mg zu grossen und Petit‐Mal‐Anfällen bei einem 14 Jarhe alten Mädchen. Eine orale Einzeldosis von 12.5 mg rief spike‐wave‐und andere paroxysmale Aktivität im EEG hervor.RESUMEN: Tras la administratión de 10 a 20 mg. de Trimipramine se produjeron ataques generalizados y de “petit mal” en una niña de 14 años. Una sola dosis oral de 12.5 mg. indujo complejos punta‐onda y otros tipos de actividad paroxi'stica en el EEG.Keywords
