Abstract
Since the separation of free from bound antigen is not required in homogeneous enzyme immunoassay, the mechanization of the enzyme immunological determination of serum levels of phenytoin using the fast analyzer (Centrifichem) was satisfactory. The marked advantages over manual methods were; the amount of sample and reagents needed were reduced by half; the intra- and interassay variance were significantly better compared to the manual techniques and 60 samples could be determined in duplicate in under 2 h.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
