Abstract
In this article several decay modes of the and the (heavy ) meson are discussed under the assumption that there exist -violating interactions which conserve parity and strangeness. Various speculations about the strength, symmetry, and electromagnetic properties of this interaction are considered to find out how these properties might be determined experimentally from these decays. From available experimental data, several limits for the strength of -violating interactions are obtained.
