Abstract
The optical model of Greenlees, Pyle, and Tang has been used to fit 14.5-MeV neutron elastic-scattering data. Excellent fits are obtained and the results of this neutron analysis are compared with results obtained from an analysis of 14.5-MeV proton elastic data for the same elements. The neutron analysis shows the same features as are found in the proton analysis, and the nuclear matter rms radii and the volume integrals of the two-body force obtained from the neutron analysis are in excellent agreement with the corresponding values obtained from the analysis of proton data. Keywords
