Abstract
Events in oogenesis, fertilization, and the 1st cleavage division of Dicyema aegira are interpreted as occurring, usually, in the customary manner. Two polar bodies are formed, with reduction of the chromosome number to haploid; fertilization occurs; two pronuclei are formed; and the 1st cleavage division of a diploid zygote is normal. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
