Note sur les Soricidae (Insectivora) du Nimba libérien

Abstract
Soricidae (37) were caught at Mount Nimba, Liberia. This material which includes Crocidura nimbae, a rare species, is compared to the numerous collections made by various authors in this region of West Africa, one of the better studied of Africa. It is difficult to generalize and to derive conclusions about preferential biotopes. The ratio of insectivores to rodents is extremely variable in the catches made by various authors. The results vary greatly according to capture methods.
