Abstract
The results of the inquiry about the household statements of 132 families in 1958 were appropriate for the determination of the standard of life index. Average values show a perfect nutrition with one exception: the fat consumption was too high. A perfect nutrition ought to contain only 30% fat calories. The nutrition contained almost 70% of bought fat. Also the B1-contents of 83% is objected to. It were found, however, that the B1-contents were were indicated too low in the tables about nutritive quality. Also the bread consumption of 270 g was too low. It ought to be 350 g per person and day. The consumption of milk, only 380 cm3/person and day, is also unsatisfactory, at least 1/2 1 ought to be consumed. The high consumption of vegetables and fruit is satisfying (190 g fruit, 150 g vegetables/-person and day).
