Phenomenoloy of low-energy scattering in the framework of quantum chromodynamics

Abstract
The short-range low-energy interaction between hadrons is studied with the quantum-chromodynamic one-gluon-exchange potential in the context of the resonating-group method. A soft-core approximation is used to estimate low-energy s-wave scattering lengths and amplitudes in exotic reactions: K+p, K+n, π+π, and K+π+. Good agreement is found with data.
