Abstract
The pressure dependence of the quadrupole interaction in beta gallium has been measured. The effect is linear to pressures of 240 mn m-2 and (deltanuq/deltap)t has the value of 0.285 khz(mn m-2). The temperature and pressure effects for beta gallium are compared with the corresponding values for other known metals. Keywords
