Abstract
Na atoxyl-diazoamino-sulphoanthranilate injected into guinea pigs sensitizes the animals not to this compound, but to a corresponding azo-protein. The injected compound did not react in the Schultz-Dale test. The injected compound evidently decomposes and then couples in vivo with body protein to form an azoprotein, and this coupled protein produced in the body acts as the sensitizing agent. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
