Is photon angular momentum conserved in a dielectric medium?

Abstract
We report the first measurement of photon angular momentum inside a dielectric medium. In contrast to the corresponding photon linear momentum, which is proportional to the refractive index n, we find the angular momentum to be independent of n.Keywords
