Abstract
During the 33-year period, 1931-1963, 520,000 deaths in the USA were attributed to cancer of the uterus. Had the death rates which were recorded in 1930 for the various age groups prevailed throughout the 30-year period, 715,000 deaths would have been attributed to cancer of the uterus. Therefore advances in cancer control measures saved 195,000 women from death from uterine cancer. These 195,000 women represent 27% of the otherwise anticipated total. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
