Abstract
A bovine fetus aborted at approximately 8 months gestation had a pedunculated mass 3.5 × 2.5 × 2 cm attached to the skin of the volar surface of the left anterior limb proximal to the carpus. Another pedunculated mass 1.5 × 1 × 1 cm was on the right ventrolateral surface of the tongue at the level of the first molar tooth. A tumor 13 × 10 × 8 cm was between the chorionic and allantoic epithelial layers of the placenta. Each of these tumors was made up of loose fibrous tissue containing many capillaries. They were considered to be hemangiomas. An analogy possibly exists between this condition and fetal vascular anomalies, which frequently accompany chorioangiomas in humans. Keywords
