Abstract
The electrical conductivity of partially ionized monatomic gases (hydrogen, oxygen, helium, and neon) has been calculated over a wide range of electron temperature Te and ionization degree x (300 °K≤Te ≤30 000 °K and 10−8≤ x ≤1) with Coulomb collisions taken into account. The knowledge of the conductivity allows for easy determination of electron mobility and diffusion coefficient in the plasmas. Limiting degrees of ionization xw(Te) and xf(Te) were established, giving the range of plasma conditions where the plasma transport properties can be considered within the limits of weakly ionized or fully ionized models. Keywords
