Abstract
A case report of verrucous carcinoma in the ear of a patient subject to persistent discharge from that ear for more than 30 years is presented. The histology conformed to that in Ackerman's classic description and a literature search revealed that this is only the second case of this disease reported. The patient was treated surgically followed by radiotherapy and was well 18 months later. Keywords
