Abstract
"True" creatinine concn. of sweat was compared with that for "apparent" concn. in 24 men exposed to 120[degree]F. Sweat was collected from an arm enclosed in a polyethylene bag. The mean ratio of "true" creatinine to "apparent" creatinine was 0.287, S.D. = 0.065. In every case, "true" creatinine concn. was appreciably less than "apparent" creatinine concn. It is concluded that the major portion of creatinine-like chromogens in sweat is not "true" creatinine. Keywords
