Abstract
This paper presents a computational procedurer for the on-line optimal rescheduling of power generation. Rescheduling is used to correct an unreliable system operating state and bring a potentially dangerous condition into a secure operating state. Sensitivity parameters are the basis of the model, and linear programming formulation is developed to solve the optimal rescheduling problem. The constraints on the variables are naturally included in this practical method. A small power-network illustrates the application of the method. Keywords
