Multiple diverse primary brain tumors

Abstract
A case of multiple primary brain tumors[long dash]glioblastoma with one large and a second small, nonsymptomatic meningioma[long dash]with carcinoma of the breast is described. A summary of primary multiple brain tumors of different histologic structure, collected from the literature, is listed in the table. The combination of glioblastoma multlforme and meningioma is the most frequent. Angiography was of great aid in detecting the presence of two tumors. The presence of distinctive vascular angiographic patterns may be useful in the diagnosis of multiple diverse brain tumors.
