Abstract
Sixty‐one renal transplants have been performed on 54 patients, using eight kidneys from live donors and 53 cadaveric kidneys at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide, South Australia, during a period of five and a half years. The overall survival of these patients is 61%, with graft survival of 50% at one year and 41% at two years, which compares favourably with the world experience as well as the combined Australasian experience. The post‐transplant complications in this group of patients are discussed. Keywords
