Abstract
Data taken on the temperature dependence of A150 and graphite ionization chambers show a temperature dependence consistent with the volume coefficient of expansion of the chamber materials. For graphite chambers this effect is negligible, but for A150 the T dependence is some 20% less than expected from the ideal gas law. In cases when the highest accuracy is required this effect should be taken into account. Keywords
