Abstract
Alloreactive cytolytic clones can be modified in terms of their lytic specificity by several agents. We have evaluated the effects of anti-CD2 and anti-CD3 mAb and the calcium ionophore A23187 on CD4+ and CD8+ allospecific cytolytic clones. All these agents can modify the specificity of clones although the range of targets lysed depends on the agent used and subtype of the clone. Inhibition studies suggest that surface structures that are involved in non-specific cell-cell interaction processes play a role in this non-MHC-restricted cytolysis. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
