Abstract
A 58 yr old man is presented with Castleman''s disease manifested by fever, anemia, elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, leukocytosis and hypergammaglobulinemia. Histology of a pelvic mass is used to demonstrate benign lymph node hyperplasia with numerous plasma cells and hyaline vascular changes. Excretory urography, cystoscopy and angiography are employed to differentiate Castelman''s lesions from malignant retroperitoneal tumors. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
