Abstract
Stoicheiometries have been found for the oxidation of hydrazine in aqueous solution by tricarbonatocobaltate(III), barium permanganate, ethylenediaminetetra-acetatomanganate(III), trispyrophosphatomanganate(III), hexachloroiridate(IV), octacyanomolybdate(V), and of sulphite by the last three of these complexes. The results are discussed with reference to the lability of the complexes to ligand-substitution.Keywords
