Abstract
The changes seen in the pulsation amplitudes of Spica and 16 Lacertae may be a consequence of their membership of binary systems. We suggest that precession of the rotational axis about the orbital axis presents different angles of inclination of the pulsational axis to the observer. As a result the observed light and radial velocity pulsational amplitudes could be expected to vary if the oscillations are non-radial.Keywords
