Abstract
The contribution to the lattice thermal conductivity due to the correction term has been studied at high temperatures in the frame of the generalized Callaway integral by obtaining an analytical expression for it. These expressions, have been used to calculate the lattice thermal conductivity of Ge in the temperature range 100 to 1 000 K for the different scattering strengths. It is found that the contribution to the thermal conductivity arising from the correction term is negligible at high temperatures
