Abstract
The Mono-Vacc method of tuberculin testing, was well accepted by patients. Simultaneous testing of 1,406 hospital employees with 5 TU [tuberculin unit] of PPD [purified protein derivative] produced 319 reactions considered to be positive. Five subjects reacted positively with the Mantoux technique and negatively when tested by the Mono-Vacc technique. Ten subjects had positive reactions by Mono-Vacc and reacted negatively when tested by the Mantoux technique. Thirty subjects reacted positively with the Mono-Vacc technique and showed 5 mm. or greater but less than 10 mm. induration to PPD.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
