Abstract
While the slow crystallization of calcium carbonate at 22 °C on self-assembled ω-substituted alkylthiol surfaces yields in most cases, depending on the surface, the vaterite and calcite modifications, elevating the temperature to 45 °C allows the stabilization of the aragonite modification as well.Keywords
