Abstract
The nature of ionic hydration for the cations in NiCl2 solution and the anions in NaCl solution has been investigated by neutron diffraction experiments on samples which have been isotropically enriched. Well defined hydration numbers are found for both the Ni2+ ion and Cl- ion. Keywords
