Abstract
Multiinfarct- or vascular dementia can primarily be defined clinically by means of the combination of intermittent neurological deficits and progressive mental deterioration. Cranial computerized tomography is not capable of proving the intellectual state, but if there is clinical appearance of mental impairment, CCT is an important aid in providing some further clues as to the etiology of the complaints.
