Abstract
The purpose of this paper is twofold — to present 4 cases of hemorrhage into or from the gall bladder, 3 of which had unusual features, and to show the significance of hemorrhage into the gastrointestinal tract in cases of cholelithiasis, as indicated by routine examination of the stools.Of the cases of massive hemorrhage from the gall bladder, 1 was due to neoplasm, so that the hemorrhage was not remarkable.
