Abstract
Fifty-eight faeces samples from calves and yearling cattle with diarrhoea were subject to a virus cultural study in monkey kidney cells and bovine embryonic kidney and lung cells. The properties of the 6 viruses isolated indicated that 5 were bovine enteroviruses belonging to 2 biologically different groups, and the remaining virus was probably a rotavirus (reo-like virus). Keywords
