Abstract
The effects on coronary blood flow of the endecapeptide Eledoisin have been studied in the anesthetized dog. Eledoisin increases coronary blood flow without increasing myocardial contractility and heart rate. Nitroglycerin and the polypeptide bradykinin increase coronary blood flow in the same way, but are markedly less active than Eledoisin. l-Epinephrine increases coronary blood flow, but at the same time produces a stimulating action on the myocardium. Keywords
