A design for a 6 in. field Mach-Zehnder interferometer

Abstract
The design, construction and operation of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer are described. It has horizontally disposed plates with a field of minor axis 6 in. The instrument was not costly to build and has proved easy to operate and versatile in use, particularly for optical studies of a variety of mass and heat transfer processes.
