Abstract
A report of 540 cases of goiter (294 exophthalmic, 50 toxic nodular, 200 nodular and non-toxic colloid) shows a marked relationship between function and structure of the thyroid gland. KI or ant. pituitary extract administered to normal guinea pigs resulted in increased function and hyperplastic change of the thyroids. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
