Abstract
Short-term in vitro culture of Babesia microti was obtained. Immune hamster serum had an inhibitory effect on the growth of B. microti in vitro. It is suggested that these antibodies act by preventing penetration of erythrocytes by the parasite. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
