Abstract
The number of corpora lutea (CL) was adjusted to 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 by unilateral ovariectomy at Day 30 to 40 of gestation. The number of CL had no effect on the length of gestation or the level of progesterone and estrogen. There was a significant inverse relationship between litter size and length of gestation. Litter size was correlated positively with the level of estrogen between Day 89 and parturition. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
